The Opportunity
The successful applicant will be a member of the team responsible for the safety of the Marshall Island Campus staff and students. Ensure the security of buildings, equipment and properties belonging to the university. He/She is part of team involved in Security Operations at Marshall Islands Campus.

The appointee will execute responsibilities for Campus Security to prevent potential crimes This includes carrying out foot patrols around the campus, responding to emergencies in a timely manner, conduct safety and security hazard inspections of the campus, keep a daily log of all vehicle movements within the university and incidents reported on campus and provide both written and oral reports on each shift covered.

The Person We Seek
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- Knowledge, training or experiences as Security Officer; or
- Completion of the Secondary school level education (Year 10); or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training; and
- Good communication skills in both English and Marshallese language.
Preference will be given to applicants with two and more years’ experience as a security officer.

Remuneration
The position is available for a term of three years and may be renewed by mutual agreement.

Salary Range: US $6,795 to US $8,785 per annum
