The Opportunity

USP International is looking for a fresh, energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated individual who is passionate about providing superior customer service to our international students and their families, and administrative support for the office. If you enjoy a diverse, supportive, and fun work environment then this is the position for you. This team member will be responsible for providing superior customer service to our prospective and current international students and their families, building strong collaborative working relationships with other departments at the University, providing exceptional service to our international partners, mentoring international students through transitional challenges and developmental stages, answering all general inquires via email and phone, maintaining and processing all financial documents, handling and processing of all travel reservations for staff and students, assisting in planning and running international student orientation and other activities, maintaining the filing system for the office, arranging all logistics for meetings, and participating in 24 hour emergency response rotation. In addition, this position may be required to present at orientation or provide information sessions about study abroad opportunities, meet with prospective students to discuss possible study options, marketing, participate in international student airport pick up, serve on USP Exchange selection committee, or any other duties required.

The Person We Seek
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- Degree in business administration/ marketing/ management or related discipline with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and management expertise in International education environment, project management, event coordination/administrative fields; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training; and with
- Demonstrated cultural understanding and sensitivity;
- Possess excellent computer skills including MS office and Internet;
- Excellent Written and oral communication skills, including the ability to deal effectively via email and in person;
- Able to work under minimum supervision within broad guidelines; and
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills;

Preference will be given to applicants with:

- Ethics - a person of integrity.

Salary Range: FJ $32,246 to FJ $38,138 per annum
