Coordinator Professional Management Programmes

The Opportunity

The appointee is responsible for managing all the Professional business programmes at Pacific TAFE. The person will also be responsible for development of new programmes and qualifications as required. Key responsibilities include teaching, creating relevant assessments with marking rubrics and providing academic leadership to the Professional programmes teaching team. Administratively, the Coordinator is expected to work closely with the Head of College to achieve the College annual plans and Pacific TAFE strategic plans. The coordinator will be generally responsible for the activities of the professional management programmes and is accountable to the Director through the Head of College.
The coordinator will work with the Quality and Accreditation team to secure accreditation, lead the development of new programmes, ensure quality assurance and maintain viability.

The Person We Seek

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
•Post Graduate Diploma in Business or Management or related discipline.
•At least 3 years of middle or senior business administrative experience in the industry with demonstrative experience.
•Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning; and
•Citizen of USP Member Country.

Preference will be given to applicants with:
•Master of Business or Management or related discipline.
•Professional Certifications in Business or Management or related discipline.
•Tertiary teaching or training qualification will be an added advantage; and
•5 years’ relevant experience in tertiary education sector or industry.

The position is available for a term of three years and may be renewed by mutual agreement.
Salary Range: Coordinator Option 1 FJ $45,356.61 to FJ $55,563.79 per annum
