Coordinator Economics

The Opportunity

The appointee will coordinate the Preliminary and Foundation Economics courses under the College of Foundation Studies. The Coordinator is responsible for the preparation and delivery of the Economics courses across the USP campuses. The Coordinator is also responsible for the management of teaching staff, operational logistics and resources required and maintaining the quality of the courses in the programmes.

The Person We Seek
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

-Post graduate Diploma in Economics or related discipline;
-At-least 5 years of relevant teaching experience in a multimodal learning institution
-Excellent command of both written and verbal communication
-Ability to work and make decisions independently
-Excellent organizational skills
-Proven ICT skills
-Citizen of USP Member Country

Preference will be given to applicants with:
-Masters in Economics or related discipline;
-Post graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching
-Work experience in distance and flexible learning

The position is available for a term of three years and may be renewed by mutual agreement.
Salary Range:
FJ$45,356 to FJ$55,563 per annum
FJ$49,713 to FJ$64,261 per annum
